ذائقہ جو نسلوں سے مشہور ہے
Forty-five years of slow-cooked beef, hand-ground masala and long-grain basmati — still cooked in copper deghs, still on Main Korangi Road, still worth the drive.
Our Legacy
Raees Ahmed Arain opened a single small counter on Main Korangi Road in 1980 with one promise: nothing leaves this kitchen that he would not serve at his own table. That promise became the name — Standard.
Today the queues still form before the deghs are opened. The beef is still simmered overnight, the masala still ground in-house, the rice still layered by hand in copper. We have never opened a second branch, because a standard you cannot personally watch over is not a standard at all.
Unchanged spice blend, ground fresh every morning.
Slow dum on coal — never steam-rushed, never re-heated.
Every plate leaves the same kitchen, under the same eyes.
What is cooked today is finished today. Always.
What We’re Famous For
Ask anyone in Korangi and they will name the same dishes. These are the ones that made the name.
